Here is the second installment of pages from Marchel Duchamp’s Le Boîte en valise, selections of which are currently on display in the small-focus exhibition Marcel Duchamp: The Book and the Box. This wonderfully odd work refuses to conform to a traditional bibliographic structure, hovering somewhere between book, objet d’art, and sculpture.
Over the next four days, we’ll be posting the book’s pages, many of which are not on view, so that you may experience the full breadth of this intriguing artwork. Be sure to catch this intriguing exhibition, which includes additional Duchamp pieces and will be on view through November 11.
