“Adam” I’m very tempted to see the Rineke Dijkstra exhibit at the Guggenheim this weekend instead of doing the proper art-tourist thing and slogging over to the Yayoi Kusama retrospective at the Whitney. Probably because despite the contemporary techniques, she’s still mining that deep vein of 16th/17th Dutch portraiture that remains the best in class. And with that, I’m off for a few days in NYC.
