“Untitled” (from Pittsburgh) It’s been an inexcusably long absence, and I’m very sorry. My life has been changing on a day to day basis, and what’s new for me in terms of my work and my life has not been good for my blog! If there are any of you still out there, I haven’t forgotten you. It’s cold and dark in Berlin all the time now, and when I left my house at 5 pm to finally catch the last day of the W. Eugene Smith retrospective at the Martin-Gropius-Bau it looked like midnight outside. It’s hard to do much of anything when the weather is like this — it’s why I waited until the last day, practically the last moment, to see this exhibit. But I’m so glad I went. Copyright W.
